It started in a WhatsApp chat, because of course it did.

A group of friends, now old enough to know better, started reminiscing about "better times": when pop-punk was everywhere, jeans were way too baggy, everyone played an instrument, and every night out felt like it could turn into a story.

Somewhere between arguing about old albums and trying to outdo each other with increasingly stupid food puns, an idea appeared: what if this was an actual place?

Not a theme bar. Not nostalgia for nostalgia's sake. Just a restaurant built around the things we still love: good food, great music we're apparently old enough to call "classic", daft jokes, and booze.

All the Small Plates is exactly what it sounds like: small plates, sharing food, snacks, sides, specials, and whatever else we can justify putting on the menu because the name made us laugh.

Some of it leans Spanish. Some of it doesn't. The rule is simple: it has to taste good, make sense on a table with drinks, and ideally come with a name that sounds like it was texted to the group chat in the middle of the night — because it probably was.

Expect seasonal produce, decent drinks, a playlist with strong opinions, and a menu that refuses to take itself too seriously.

We're not here to reinvent anything. We're here to serve good food with a bit of care, a bit of chaos, and create the kind of nights people end up talking about later.

"Small plates. Good tunes. Stupid puns. No regrets."

What We Stand For

THE
MANIFESTO

01

Share Everything

Tapas is built on generosity. Order more than you think you need, push it into the middle, and let everyone take what they want. That's the whole point.

02

No Pretension

You don't need to know your Albariño from your Verdejo to have a great night here. Just be curious. We'll guide you.

03

Glasgow First

We buy local wherever we can — Scottish produce, local craft beer, city-made ceramics. We're proud to be from here.

04

Loud & Proud

The music matters. We'll play it loud enough to hear but not so loud you can't argue about it. That's the sweet spot.
